ANYTHING OLD GOES FOR THIS VERY VINTAGE-THEMED 40TH CELEBRATION IN SYDNEY!

 

With a rustic room with weathered walls, this theme was the perfect choice for Dustin's 40th. 'Vintage' meant guests could come as any throw-back vibe they wanted - and they SURE DID!

 

There were all sorts of decades represented and everyone looked completely perfect.

 

Six years later, I'm still laughing that I went as a lamp shade (that lit up!) because it was just about all that fit my very, very 8.5-month pregnant self.

 

Highlights included The Teasdale Times Newspaper, which was filled with stories from friends and family.

 

The vintage Penfolds wine cake (cue: aging like a... jokes)

 

And the party favours which were my favourite. Custom stubby holders made to look like Dustin's grandad's most loved beer, and lemon slice along with his nan's recipe, wrapped up in cellophane.
